Legislative Alert: SB 1678 (THC-infused Beverages)

SB 1678 would allow allow active holders of quota and special food service liquor licenses to sell certain THC-infused beverages at retail, with or without alcohol. This proposal follows the introduction of HB 801, which would create a new Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco license to sales of THC beverages.

THC-infused Beverages: Authorizing a holder of an active qualifying alcoholic beverage license to sell, offer to sell, or distribute THC-infused beverages at retail in this state; prohibiting any person or entity that does not hold an active, qualifying alcoholic beverage license from selling, offering for sale, possessing for sale, or distributing THC-infused beverages in this state, etc.
