Legislative Alert: HB 801 (Sale of THC-infused Beverages)

As the Florida Legislature considers new alcoholic beverage laws that may affect manufacturers, distributors, vendors, and consumers, the firm tracks the policymaking action through the Legislative Alert series of posts here.

HB 801 would authorize the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverage and Tobacco to issue licenses for the retail sale of THC-infused beverages. This proposal comes as the THC beverage industry is in turmoil following the passage of new federal legislation that would effectively ban the most popular products in 2026.
