State Regulators Announce 2025 Liquor License Drawing Date
Florida’s Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco will announce the winners of its annual quota alcoholic beverage license drawing (a/k/a “quota lottery” or “liquor license lottery”) on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Details on the event and a summary of the process are included below.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC DRAWING FOR THE 2025 QUOTA ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE ENTRY PERIOD

61A-5.0105 Selection of Applicants for Quota Alcoholic Beverage Licenses by Public Drawing
The Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco will conduct a public drawing by double random selection to determine the order in which entrants from the 2025 entry period will be considered for issuance of quota alcoholic beverage licenses in the following counties: Bay, Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Citrus, Clay, Collier, Dade, Duval, Hendry, Hernando, Hillsborough, Lake, Lee, Manatee, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Polk, Sarasota, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, and Volusia. All persons are invited to attend the live drawing. The drawing will not be streamed live. Pre-registration for the drawing is available on the Department’s website at www.myfloridalicense.com. Following the drawing, the Division will provide notice of license eligibility by certified mail to the entrant(s) selected for each county.

PURPOSE: To conduct a public drawing by double random selection pursuant to section 561.19, Florida Statutes, for the purpose of determining the order in which applications will be considered for issuance of quota alcoholic beverage licenses in certain counties where licenses have become available.
