Malt Beverages: Revises unit of measurement used for licensing purposes; authorizes vendors to sell specified malt beverages on any licensed premises; removes requirement that manufacturers pay surety bond for taxes; authorizes manufacturers to enter into contract brewing & alternating proprietorship brewing agreements; provides responsibilities & requirements of parties under such agreements; prohibits specified parties from participating in such agreements; provides annual registration fee is required only if labels or brands are sold to distributor; specifies that no other registration fee is authorized; revises unit of measurement used for calculating excise taxes; revises unit of measurement used for fee purposes; expands types of manufacturers that qualify for lower license tax.
